More and more people want to enjoy their outdoor spaces throughout the seasons, with the freedom to decide, at any moment, how much sunlight and protection they want.
That’s exactly the need Pergo Prime was created to meet: Gaviota’s retractable-roof pergola, designed to deliver maximum comfort without sacrificing the beauty of the open sky.
With a simple movement, the retractable roof opens completely, leaving the space entirely open to enjoy the sun, soak up natural light, or admire the stars. When shelter is needed, it closes effortlessly, creating a shaded, protected area that’s perfect for enjoying your terrace or garden at any time of day.
But Pergo Prime is more than just a visually striking solution—it’s also a perfect combination of innovation, engineering, and premium craftsmanship.
Its new patented roof-drive system prevents the toothed belt from slipping, ensuring smooth, precise operation, outstanding reliability, and long-lasting performance.
Every project can be tailored to your needs by choosing the fabric that best suits your lifestyle: a waterproof blackout fabric for maximum protection, or a light-filtering fabric that provides pleasant shade while preserving natural daylight.
The range includes two versions:
- Pergo Prime, featuring a timeless design with exposed side guides;
- Pergo Prime S, featuring side guides fully integrated into the front gutter for a clean, contemporary look.
A wide range of customization options makes the pergola even more versatile: integrated LED lighting, white Spotlight illumination, coordinated vertical screens, fabric or acrylic gable infills, and seamless integration with VEPA panoramic glass enclosures.
Thanks to its robust 150 × 150 mm posts and the option to combine two or three modules, Pergo Prime can cover large outdoor areas while maintaining exceptional stability, elegant design, and seamless visual continuity.
A benefit for every project.
Pergo Prime is the ideal solution for those seeking quality, durability, and extensive customization. The ability to transform an outdoor space from completely open to fully protected, combined with exclusive technology and outstanding design flexibility, enhances every project and helps it stand out from the rest.
And when wall mounting isn’t possible—for example, due to an external thermal insulation system—Pergo Cloud is the perfect solution. This freestanding version offers all the benefits of Gaviota’s retractable roof system without requiring any attachment to the building.
